Thai Melloni Corporation (TMC) was established in 2010 by Mr. Anil Kumar. Anil is a veteran of the textiles industry, who has led the marketing team for 18 years at Thai Acrylic Fibre Co. Ltd., one of the largest acrylic fibre manufacturing companies in the world of the Aditya Birla Group. Following his retirement, Anil went on to establish his own textiles trading company.  

 

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, TMC is a leading import-export agent of the textiles industry. We deal in a variety of high quality textile products, mainly in polyester, acrylic, viscose (rayon), and bamboo fibre and yarns. Our fibres and yarns are sourced from large global suppliers based in Thailand, Indonesia and China.

 

We are currently supplying fibres and yarns to our customers in the South East Asian region, who are based in Thailand, Vietnam, India, Nepal and Malaysia. We also supply polyester, acrylic and viscose yarn waste (both soft and hard waste) to customers in India, which is sourced from our suppliers in Thailand. In addition to yarn waste, we are also supplying GRS recycled polyester to our customers based in Vietnam.

 

 

As part of our business development and expansion plan, we have also ventured into the trade of non textile products. For the management of this growing line of products, we formed Thai Multi Products International (TMPI) in January 2021. TMPI is part of the Thai Melloni group, and is already establishing itself as a leading exporter in the south-east asian market.  Some of the products we are currently sourcing are food items such as lentil beans, betel nuts, south-east asian rice varieties (including Thai Jasmine rice); and BOPA packaging films for the food industry. We are in an ongoing process to expand our portfolio to a wide variety of consumer based products.
