What is Bamboo Fiber & Yarn?
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world. As a fibre, bamboo is a natural regenerated biodegradable environment friendly textile. Not only is it a green fibre, it also has anti-bacterial and UV protective properties, which makes it a unique ecofriendly textile. It is not only used as a conventional textile for making fabrics and garments, it is also very useful for high performance end uses as a composite material due to its high tensile strength, durability, and stability.

Bamboo fabric is most commonly used for making apparel such as undergarments, socks, nightwear, and towels. It is also used for making sanitary and medical products such as face masks, surgical clothing, bandages, absorbent pads and other textile based medical products. It has also been used for household purposes, such as for TV covers, wall-paper, and sofa covers. Bamboo fibre has the same applications as viscose fibre, however it has better absorption properties than viscose fibre, and is also softer than cotton.
